Dr. Fang Miao, President of The Association for the Protection of Asian Women in America, was named the winner of a Stevie® Award in the Thought Leader of The Year category in The 22nd Annual American Business Awards® today.
The American Business Awards are recognized as the leading business awards program in the United States. These awards are open to a diverse array of organizations within the U.S., encompassing both public and private entities, profit and non-profit organizations, as well as those varying in size from large to small.
These awards, also known as the Stevies, a term derived from the Greek word for “crowned,” are set to be awarded at an elaborate celebration at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 11.
This year, the competition received entries from more than 3,700 organizations spanning a diverse range of industries. The entries competed for awards in categories like Startup, Executive, Product/Service, Marketing, Thought Leader, and App of the Year and more.
Dr. Fang Miao, as the President of The Association for the Protection of Asian Women in America was nominated in the Thought Leader of The Year category for Government or Non-Profit.
Dr. Fang Miao, an author, educator, philanthropist, composer, and spiritual growth mentor, is dedicated to nurturing social practitioners, young leaders, and entrepreneurs. Her goal is to foster creativity from the ground up within the realms of social elites, businesses, and industries, turning ideas into reality. She strives to create leaders who can lead human development, possess international influence, and have a global voice, making contributions in various fields. This effort injects continuous positive energy into individuals, families, and society as a whole.
As the President of the Association for the Protection of Asian Women in America, Dr. Fang Miao has organized meaningful activities to help Asian women reconnect with their inner strength, explore their self-identity, and achieve self-realization. She encourages self-reflection, communication, and dialogue among Asian women to better understand their needs and the path to spiritual growth. Dr. Miao actively seeks or creates support systems for Asian women, participating in group activities, online communities, and relevant organizations. Through sharing experiences, healing past pain, and providing mutual psychological support, she advocates for the rights of Asian women, actively participating in discussions and encouraging accomplished women to speak up for their fellow Asian women.
More than 300 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. All Stevie winners in the 2024 ABAs will be celebrating their achievements during our June 11 awards banquet in New York.
