Yacht Hampton Continues to Make Waves Within the Boat Rental Industry With Ease Amid the Global Pandemic

There are many ways that one can flaunt their wealth and oftentimes people do so by splurging their cash on the latest Apple product, luxury cars, or expensive watches, but the elite of the Hamptons is claiming seasonal access via virtual ownership of yachts or boats. The global pandemic has made it difficult for prospective owners to purchase the model they envisioned sailing off into the horizon. Yacht Hampton is a boating club that has found a solution, giving people the chance to experience the yacht life at the helm of one of their new boats or yachts.

Yacht Hampton is owned by Joe Ialacci who is in the business of creating memorable experiences. Yacht Hampton, formerly named Hamptons Boat Rental, the club has grown its reputation this past summer as the fleet of boats have disrupted how Hamptonites enjoy or experience  boating. After a successful 2021 summer season, Yacht Hampton has expanded to other markets, with their sights set on South Florida.

The boating club offers members and prospective members several packages, providing them with different boat choices that match nicely with what type of experience they wish to enjoy that day.   Members can select the package that best suits their lifestyle before sitting back and relaxing aboard the cruise.

“We’ll take you sightseeing, water skiing, or just cruising,” promised Ialacci. “Or you can create a personal membership experience customized to accommodate your special summer calendar.”

Yacht Hampton prides itself in its inventory that comprises more than 30 boats, 11 of which are owned by Ialacci. “We own the newest and best boats within our fleet of boats and yachts, which gives us a competitive edge since we are 100% controlling the availability calendar and the client experience and not relying on outside owners,” said Ialacci. “We also have 8 more boats fleet than our nearest competitor therefore we can be more flexible in placing reservations. Many companies only have 5 of the other owners’ boats, so their time slots can be filled up rather quickly. Plus, they are limited in terms of reliability, boat maintenance is a difficult task, so with our large fleet we never have to cancel on a client due to a service issue on one of our boats, we simply swap them to a larger boat.

Although the club had already been established, a huge spike in demand for power boats and yachts of all sizes came about when the global pandemic washed onto  American shores. The crisis ignited a problem for prospective owners who were looking for boats of certain models and makes. The pandemic struck a heavy blow when it also affected the supply chain, creating a massive problem.

Apart from the supply, boat prices also hiked, making it even more costly for prospective buyers. Those fortunate enough to splurge are then faced with finding a slip at the marina of their choice. Joe Ialacci believes that the boating club is the perfect solution for boating enthusiasts who are looking to deal with such issues. Even before the pandemic, Ialacci came up with the idea to start a customer-driven club, and the current situation has only made the prospect of getting a membership even more appealing.

Even when the pandemic subsides, Joe Ialacci hopes that Yacht Hampton will continue to dominate the industry as the best choice for a luxury boat club in South Florida and the Hamptons in Long Island New York. “I want to invent and expand the luxury boat club category and be the  go-to and the pre-eminent source of luxury boating in luxury markets throughout the United States entirely,” he said.  Based on his performance in the Hamptons, I would not bet against it.
