The 4th Pistang Pinoy festival in Shizuoka City, Japan, gathered Filipinos from across the prefecture and nearby areas, celebrating Filipino heritage, culture, and community. With the motto “Pistang Pinoy, Atin To! Para sa mga Pilipino! Mabuhay!,” the event showcases the richness of Filipino identity and serves as a bridge for tourism and community support.

The success of the 4th Pistang Pinoy festival is a testament to the dedication of its organizing committee, led by APIVA’s founder and president, Chairperson Ana Margarita J. Teodoro. With Vice Chairperson Rosemarie Ikedda, Treasurer Shirly Ogi, Secretary Arlene Mori, and Assistant Secretary Raquel Masuda, they ensured every event detail was thoughtfully planned and executed. Recognition is also due to Acting Auditor Nicole Vincent Aqui Sia and Public Relations Officers Michael and Nicole Sia for their contributions.
The festival thrived with the generous support of the Philippine Consulate in Nagoya, Shizuoka’s Prefectural and City Government, and various sponsors. DCOM Money Express was the exclusive presenting sponsor, with contributions from SNS, SQUARE, SMDC, ACT Corp., Jewelry Sakai, Snack J.E., Asahi Staff Service, Life Bus Kakegawa, and Nin’s Kitchen Truck. The festival was brought to life by talented performers, including the Sidlakan Dance Company of Negros Oriental, GMA artist Vaness del Moral, and the group KAMARI, who delighted audiences with their artistry. A team of volunteers, including individuals like Mike Grayham, supported the event’s success, demonstrating a shared spirit of unity and dedication.
