The photography industry is a continually thriving sector that witnesses the entry of countless individuals and ventures at any given time. Considering the overwhelming number of aspiring photographers, established studios, and veteran professionals, it could be challenging for new entrants to secure a space for themselves in such a saturated field. Now, more than ever, anyone hoping to survive and thrive must make sure that they can bring value to the table – one that can help them stand out from the rest of the competition. Although Cosmic Eye was not exempted from the long list of challenges that often plague up-and-coming ventures, this iris photography studio managed to overcome the odds and exponentially grow because it offers what only a few can deliver: captured images of the human eye that can be appreciated on their own or turned into gifts.
Currently based at the heart of Hollywood, Cosmic Eye is the brainchild of a go-getter who acknowledges the beautiful landscape of the iris. “All eyes are different and uniquely beautiful,” shared the founder. “Photos with them are spectacular and make you think of cosmos and nature.”
Armed with an awareness of a gap in the market and the growing demand for studios dedicated to capturing in film the intricacies of the human iris, Cosmic Eye made it its mission to emerge as the go-to venture for Los Angeles natives and tourists. Now, it is enjoying its spot in the limelight, gaining traction in the industry because of its quality services.
At Cosmic Eye, the iris is revered above anything else and treated as the subject of much appreciation. “We believe that your eyes are beautiful and unique,” the company said. “So our goal is to capture high-definition and magnificent photos of your eye, which can then be kept for personal admiration or given as a thoughtful gift.”
The process involved in translating into a photograph the stunning landscape of one’s iris is simple. “Taking a picture of your eye, where you have to be in person at our studio, takes only a couple of minutes,” shared Cosmic Eye. “After which, the retouching and editing of the raw pictures of one eye usually take only up to thirty minutes. Of course, you are welcome to stay in our studio and have a chat with our friendly staff, but if you do not want to wait, you can buy a digital-only copy of your eye, and we will email you the final version within twenty-four hours. We can also mail you the printed photo to your physical address.”
In the short time since its launch, Cosmic Eye has catered to a long list of customers, combining macro photography and fine art to produce unique high-resolution pictures of the iris. In the years to come, it hopes not only to scale as a business but also to satisfy more people through its creative and artistic take on iris photography.
