The US entertainment industry is home to the most talented people in the world. Unfortunately, it’s a cutthroat industry where only the best people are given a proper shot at success. Through passion and determination for his craft, actor, philanthropist, and competitive tennis player Connor Dean has managed to put his name up there as one of the up-and-coming stars in the industry today.

Connor Dean is brimming with passion. Whether competing as a collegiate tennis athlete or making several acting appearances in feature films and television projects, he always makes sure to bring his A-game and dominate the stage. The promising young actor has shown a lot of potential through the years, honing his craft and perfecting what he is passionate about.

Connor initially started as a print model for Fred Meyer. The Los Angeles-based actor did commercials for the brand and eventually transitioned into short films later in his career. One of the most unforgettable roles that Connor Dean had was Butch the Bully in the Cool Cat movies starring Eric Roberts, Erik Estrada, and Vivica A. Fox.

The thriving actor deftly juggles his acting career with his competitive tennis career, competing in open tournaments all over Southern California when he’s not acting in front of the camera. The young and talented actor always makes sure that he has a clear set of objectives for his life as an athlete. He is fully committed to doing whatever it takes to see himself reach the top at a competitive level.

Connor Dean sees challenges as opportunities to break the limits and push the boundaries of whatever he is putting his mind to. He hopes to shape his character into something that he will treasure for life. He never backs down from any difficulties, and that’s what truly makes him unique.

“My goal is to play tennis at a D1 or D2 college in California. I love California and don’t want to leave! I played other sports, but tennis is my passion,” Connor Dean shared. “About three years ago, I broke my right elbow, which was devastating. The surgeon who put a plate in my arm said I might be able to play tennis but probably not at the level I was before I broke it. With the help of my parents, I found a wonderful physical therapist that worked with athletes. Through hard work and dedication, I was able to rehab my arm, and I came back better and stronger than ever.”

Connor Dean is committed to delivering excellence when it comes to the sport of tennis. He makes sure to include daily practices in his busy schedule, making sacrifices to reach the top.

“I always say ‘practice doesn’t make perfect, practice makes better,’” Connor Dean explained. “You will never have the perfect match or perfect practice, so you shouldn’t strive for that. Instead, it’s important to always work toward improving every day and be the best person you can be on and off the tennis court. You can learn just as much from a loss, and sometimes more, as you can from a win.”
