Talented Multi-Instrumentalist Arkansas Dave Set to Release His Second Album in the Summer of 2023

“Nothing but pure goodness.” These are the words that Pop Dose ascribed to Arkansas Dave’s self-titled album. With such high praise from critics and audiences alike, all eyes are on the renowned Country musician as he hopes to up the ante on his upcoming sophomore effort. Arkansas Dave has been gearing up for the release of his second album, which is scheduled for the Summer of 2023. And while his debut album prominently showcased his multi-genre flexibility, this upcoming release will take the artist back to his roots and focus on Country music.

Released in 2018, Arkansas Dave’s self-titled album was two years in the making. Originally written in 2016, the record highlighted the artist’s many talents in songwriting and instrumentation. Backed by the tremendous support of industry mainstays The Swampers, Arkansas Dave was able to flesh out the music production on each track of his acclaimed self-titled album.

Since then, Arkansas Dave has become a force to be reckoned with in the music industry, gaining prominence for his musical performances at local and international music events. Touring across different parts of the globe, such as Switzerland and all around the United Kingdom, Arkansas Dave has brought authenticity and genuine talent wherever he goes.

The passionate artist has proven his mettle over the course of his outstanding music career. Initially the drummer for Guitar Shorty & The Hard Pans, he ventured out as a solo act and has developed his own distinct sound as a result. As such, Arkansas Dave has become a sought-after musician being called to perform at the biggest music festivals to date.

Arkansas Dave was invited as an official showcasing artist at what the New York Times dubbed “the coolest music scene today,” at AmericanaFest in 2018 and AmericanaFest UK in 2019. The festival’s all-star lineup was chock-full of already established All-American musicians such as American Aquarium, John Prine and Friends, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and many more. As a recently established artist, Arkansas Dave saw the invite as a great privilege at the time.

With the massive success that he has accumulated today, it’s hard to imagine that Arkansas Dave grew up in such a tumultuous household. Born in Little Rock and raised in Camden, Arkansas, the talented artist was brought up in a fundamentally Christian household. However, crippling drug abuse would eventually overturn the family and cause a rift between them.

With nothing but the clothes on his back, a passion for music, and a drive to succeed, Arkansas Dave would survive by taking up odd jobs here and there while simultaneously honing his musical craft. The multi-instrumentalist would then enroll at the Media Tech school and prove his salt at the same studio where Willie Nelson and Neil Young would cut their records.

With grit, passion, and determination, Arkansas Dave is steadily making his way to the top of the music industry. As he welcomes the release of his second album, the talented artist is looking to captivate even more fans in the lead-up to the inevitable release. One thing’s for sure, it’s going to be a whole different side to the multi-faceted artist, and music enthusiasts have been waiting in feverish anticipation as Summer 2023 can’t come soon enough.
