The widely known Sophia stands at the heart of this metaverse, which is slated to start with NFT-based gameplay and marketplace and will eventually evolve into a full-fledged environment and API for games integration. Created in March 2016, the now six-year-old Sophia has generated over four billion social media impressions, conducted one-on-one meetings with leaders of seventeen nations, worked as a paid celebrity at over 200 conferences, served as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations, earned 750,000 social media followers, graced the cover of ten magazines, became the first robot passport holder, and had filed twelve patents.
Sophia will add another achievement under her belt with the release of her collaboration with famous artist Percy Lau. Composed of 7,777 Hivemind Special and Functional NFTs, as well as 10,000 connector NFTs, the upcoming collection called The Hivemind is bound to yield a look into a future where metaverses and artificial intelligence play a significant role in the advancement of humanity.
On top of the perks that come hand in hand with every token, the must-have NFTs belonging to The Hivemind will allow players to interact with Sophia, activating areas that help the human-like robot rise to true sentience.
