Founder of Chaos & Kindess, Justin Spencer, Raised Over $51,000 For the IronMan Foundation

On October 8th, Justin Spencer, the founder of Chaos & Kindness, Recycled Percussion, The Cake Theatre, and RAD Exotics, took on the World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, to raise money for the IronMan Foundation. He was one of 45 people invited to take this on, and he exceeded his goal by raising over $51,000 and pushing himself mentally and physically. Justin is not a “triathlete” but a drummer with a kind heart who is driven by proving that the human mind can accomplish anything.

The world championship consists of a 2.5-mile swim in the ocean, a 112-mile bike ride in the dreaded heat, and a 26.2-mile run. While Justin powered through this, his family and fans supported and cheered for him every step of the way. At one point during a Facebook Live, his wife, Quinn Spencer, catches a glimpse of him hugging his oldest daughter and saying, “I love you more than anyone else in the world. I am going to finish this race for you.” And he continued on his way while pushing through an immense amount of pain just to prove to himself, his daughters, and individuals who struggle with mental health that you can conquer anything with enough passion. All while raising money for an amazing cause.

Justin has opened up his social media platforms with transparency on mental health and the daily struggles one faces to help people feel less alone, and it was an emotional day for his dedicated fan base, who understand the true mental discipline it took for him to get through the race. He recapped the day on a Facebook Live Sunday evening, “Every time on the bike when I needed my spirits lifted, my team was there.” He continued to express his deep gratitude and went in-depth on what was going through his mind during the grueling 13 hours of this race. From feeling that he was going to have to quit many times, the blisters on his feet, and his legs that were giving out, he did what Justin is famous for; continued forward. Out of 5300 athletes, Justin was one of 10 who was the most watched on the IronMan tracker app. It truly makes you wonder that with some incredible people in your corner and having some grit, just maybe anything is, in fact, possible.

Justin has built a social media following of nearly 400k dedicated followers and is growing by the hundreds daily. His most beloved brand, Chaos & Kindness, is a clothing brand and TV Show that is going to great lengths to save lives and change the world one act of kindness at a time. His current goal right now is to “Double down on the kindness.” and bring light to amazing aspiring artists and individuals labeled “disabled.” All while giving a percentage of all profits towards the brand’s mission, ‘five colors,’ which honors the five people who die by suicide every hour in America.

While growing his businesses, he continues to do what he is deeply passionate about, which is being a drummer. His band Recycled Percussion was on AGT and was a headliner in Vegas for over eight years. He took his epic show in vegas to his home state, New Hampshire, and performs in his very own venue, The Cake Theatre in Laconia, NH, alongside his bandmates Ryan Vezina and Tony Zane.

This busy musician, author, entrepreneur, businessman, father, husband, and philanthropist is always on the move to continue cultivating a world full of kindness. We are all eagerly waiting to see what’s next!
