“English is not a barrier!” Meet The Australian Company making a stand against language discrimination

The only English application aligned with all international testing standards set by The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) testing for levels A1 to C2 in 40 countries across the globe, Learn Laugh Speak is smashing down barriers in all spheres of business with its no holds-barred self-guided program for English learning.

The only application that covers reading, writing, speaking and listening, Learn Laugh Speak is already working with some major recruitment companies and outsourcing companies in the USA and the Australian company is set to make waves throughout the global market in the coming weeks.

Learning English does not have to be a task that is overwhelmingly painstaking. Sure, you can learn anywhere on Instagram and waste significant time trying to pick up a language on your own. However, learning English is something that is complex and drawn-out. It takes even native speakers years of continuous study and use to master the language. Not only that, being able to understand English is entirely different from being able to use it conversationally.

“We are proving that English can stop becoming a barrier in communication for employees and non-native speakers. With good communication and personalized lessons, we eliminate most problems faced by those who struggle with the language in the workforce. Through our service, we encourage people to bridge gaps and enrich their lives through communication, because we know that nothing beats the feeling of understanding and being understood in return,” Bryce Purnell, the founder of Learn Laugh Speak, explains.

With the near-constant need for companies to use English as a communicative tool, we know that it takes time and training to get used to speaking in a non-native language. For employees, and for people in general, who are unused to speaking the language, it’s a given for them to feel negative emotions when forced into social situations that bring their inability to use language effectively to the forefront. Feelings of embarrassment, shame, and maybe even an increasing disinterest in learning more about English is an all-too common sentiment for some people. It poses a limit to their willingness to learn, thus blocking them from opportunities for growth.

We at Learn Laugh Speak are at the forefront of creating a nurturing environment for people of all ages and skill levels. Our focus on each individual student’s capabilities allows us to formulate a holistic learning plan that addresses both their mastery, as well as the best way to help them grow into more confident speakers.

Bryce Purnell explains it best: “I know we’re shaking things up a little bit because bigger companies are starting to follow what we’re doing. They’re watching and following because everyone loves an underdog and Australia is full of surprises, just like our businesses. We have native English teachers providing support to our students every step of the way. We’re proud that we’re Australian-made and Australian-owned and operated.”
