Compulsive Magazine, a media publication that focuses on beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, recently celebrated its 5th year anniversary at the N10 Restaurant. The event, which took place on March 2nd, was a huge success, and it brought together some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.
The anniversary event was particularly special because it also celebrated the release of the magazine’s 11th issue, featuring the talented actress Paige Audrey-Marie Hurd on the cover. The cover shoot was captured by the renowned photographer Arnold Turner, who was also in attendance. The event was hosted by model Kivon Lindley and actress Giulia Lupetti, who was previously featured in issue 8 of the magazine.
The night was full of fun and networking, and it provided an opportunity for industry professionals to come together and celebrate Compulsive’s 5-year milestone. The red carpet was filled with stunning outfits, and attendees were excited to see the new issue on stands.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of California Proclamations by Senator Steven Bradford’s office to some of the honorees. Compulsive Co-publishers, Dr. Cookie Humphrey, and Breona Moore (featured in issue 9) , were among those who received the honor, along with actresses Dani and Dannah Lane (featured in issue 10), Sylvia Santos, rapper Chad Watson, photographer Arnold Turner. Also, fashion photographer, Raimondo Rossi came from Italy, honored for his contributions to the magazine in issue 6.
In addition to the honorees, the event was attended by many other notable names in the entertainment industry, including comedian Lil Rel, actor Chido Nwekoacha, Ricky Flowers Jr. and film producers Deon and Roxanne Taylor. The Taylor’s were also surprised with an Inspired by You Award for the brilliant work they do. Compulsive Magazine’s junior editor Autumn Hawkins and editor August Styles were also in attendance.
