Recently, the prestigious China-Europe International Design Association (CEIDA) extended its invitation to exceptional minds from across the globe, seeking to enrich its ranks with individuals of unparalleled design intelligence.

About CEIDA

CEIDA stands as a premier international industrial exchange platform, uniting frontline designers and cultural influencers from China, Europe, and beyond. It is the first international industrial exchange platform based on the frontline design and related cultural forces in China, Europe and worldwide. With a membership roster boasting over three hundred members and an additional six hundred prospective members hailing from diverse corners of the world, including nations like Belgium, Japan, Mexico, and Argentina, CEIDA’s reach spans continents, embodying a truly global ethos.

The partners of the China Europe International Design Association include universities, enterprises, exhibition halls and museums worldwide. CEIDA also warmly welcomes more partners to join the league, which aims to change the world through “creativity.”

CEIDA aims to bring together designers, artists and related people from China, Europe and worldwide, providing a platform for international design and cultural exchange. Among the illustrious cohort of new members welcomed into CEIDA’s fold in 2024, one name shines particularly bright: Xianlong Deng. CEIDA has witnessed his exceptional efforts in the architectural design field and invited him to join as a prestigious member. Renowned for his distinguished career and a portfolio brimming with accolades, Deng has left an indelible mark on the architectural landscape. Having lent his expertise to esteemed firms such as Gensler, SOM, and Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill, Deng’s contributions have garnered international acclaim, with honors including French Design Awards, MUSE Design Awards, and NY Architectural Design Awards. He has played a leading role in remarkable projects, including Kinzie & Morgan Mixed Used Development, Yichang Music Town Urban Design project, Lar Brea Tar Pits Museum Campus Expansion in Los Angeles, and UPS Hub in New York. He has made influential contributions to the architecture industry in the US and around the world.

Moreover, as a Top 10 Designer at the International Pioneer Design Award in 2024, Deng cemented his reputation as a visionary architect and assumed the role of cultural ambassador, facilitating communication between the United States, China, and Japan.

Shaping the Future: Deng’s Impact on CEIDA and Beyond

Now, as a distinguished member of CEIDA and its newly appointed International Design Expert for Design, Deng is assigned to play a leadership role of utmost significance within the organization. His induction marks a pivotal moment, with Deng poised to steer CEIDA’s trajectory toward new heights of innovation and excellence. Beyond mere membership, Deng’s involvement extends to pivotal engagements such as serving as a judge for CEIDA-hosted competitions and delivering keynote addresses at critical events. With priority access to academic exchanges, exhibitions, and technical seminars organized by CEIDA, Deng’s contributions are primed to serve as a cornerstone in shaping the future discourse of architectural design.

In CEIDA’s esteemed ranks are other distinguished members, including:

• Baofeng Li, National Master Architect in China. He has won five first-class architectural design awards, many second-class architectural design awards, one first-class Architectural Design Award from the China Association of Survey and Design, one Gold Award for architectural creation from the China Institute of Architecture, and many international design awards. He has participated in 9 design exhibitions at home and abroad.
• Claudio Nardi, Founder of Claudio Nardi Architects. Since 2019, he has been an Ordinary Academician of the ancient and prestigious Florentine Institution Accademia. He regularly holds master’s courses at the Department of Industrial Design. Lectures are also frequent both in Italy and abroad. He has received numerous recognitions and prizes and has participated in national and international competitions.
• Jerry Wu, 2023 finalist of the GPDP Award. He has also garnered numerous other awards, such as the 2022 18th US HD AWARDS-Best of Year AWARD in the Luxury Hotel category; 2021 finalist of Best Chain Hotels; 2022 German IF DESIGN AWARDS; 2021 US Muse International Creative Award Platinum Award; 2021 French INNODESIGN Innovation Competition Bronze Award; and 2021 Liv Hotel Design Award winner.
