Personal growth coach Alexander Moiseev is 31 years old. At 23, he decided to completely change his life; he quit his job and started his own business. Moiseev believes that anyone can become happy and successful. How? Let’s find out.
Alexander, do you think it’s presumptuous to say that you can make any person successful?
I can’t do anything. I can only support those who are ready to change their lives, ready to work on their mindset, on all areas of life. My clients make themselves successful. Tony Robbins once said, “Desire is the key.” If we have a strong “why,” then we quickly find a “how.” I see myself as a guide from point A, where my client currently is, to point B, where my client wants to go. I also believe that success is 20% strategy and 80% psychology. People often come to me for consultations asking for “a strategy.” Once we get to work, they begin to understand how important psychology is. Self-esteem, self-confidence and being clear on goals are critical to success. They enable us to reach what I call “peak productivity.”
Who should get a coach and when should they get one?
If you don’t have a mentor now, then you need to start looking. Look at successful people: they all have coaches. Tony Robbins said in an interview that he has 20 mentors and they all happen to be the top experts in their industries. This means Tony has massive resources when it comes to experience, advice and support. I always say that people are resources and you need to lean on them to achieve your desires. Today I have 6 mentors who help me stay on top of my game.
Who are your teachers?
Uncle Tony (Tony Robbins) is the greatest coach in the world. I think it was largely thanks to him that I started coaching. To quote him, happiness is when you “Grow yourself and give to others.” When I found out that Tony Robbins studied NLP, I started training with some of the best-known experts in the field of NLP, Andrey Pligin and Alexander Gerasimov. They were the first to organize an NLP center in Russia, which has been operating for over 25 years. After completing my first course in NLP, I saw my life as divided into “before” and “after,” that’s how powerful the practice was.
My first business mentor’s name is Solomon. When I was 23, I started a business and Solomon taught me all of the tools and strategies that he used. We quickly reached a monthly revenue of $70,000 and grew our team to 40 people. We used Ron Hubbart’s management system, which is one of the best business management technologies I have come across. And, of course, Peter Davydov, who taught me marketing and sales.
Tell us about your life now. What transformations have taken place?
Today, I would say that my life is happy, energetic and interesting. I do what I love. I wake up with a smile, and when I fall asleep, I look forward to the next day since I’ll be doing what I love as soon as I wake up. I love learning and growing and watching the people around me learn and grow, too. I feel a sense of meaning, purpose and gratitude especially around my clients. I’ve seen clients launch their own businesses, increase their incomes by 50% or more, some start to work less and earn more. Many have discovered their passion in life, others have achieved a balance and harmony that had eluded them since childhood. I love how my program can create such a variety of positive results for all kinds of people.
What do you believe are the keys to achieving wealth and happiness?
Learn to overcome disappointments and survive rejection. Persevere through financial difficulties, cultivate a sense of gratitude and give back when you can. But the main thing to remember is that we create ourselves and our reality. Only we can change our lives. Every person is born with the possibility of building an amazing life.
