The construction industry is ripe with potential but often met with setbacks like the language barrier, making it difficult for business to be conducted. Alejandro Daniel Lovera, a renowned name in the industry, sought to find a solution to this barrier. Sharing his vision with others, Alejandro engineered a unique answer in his company, ManyBuild Inc.
ManyBuild Inc is the product of Alejandro Lovera’s vision to revolutionize the construction industry and build a strong community. With the construction market rapidly growing, Alejandro wanted to create a space that allowed builders to be rewarded for their work quality and efforts. He collaborated with Stefan Norton to conceptualize ManyBuild, with Peter Taggart eventually joining the team. Together, they launched the app, fulfilling Alejandro’s vision.
The company can easily be summarized as “Tinder of Construction,” wherein users could view the contractors in their area. They have the same matchmaking function as the online dating app, where users could swipe left or right. Once they get a match, contractors can reach out to start a conversation, setting the groundwork for the site schedule, estimates, contract signing, and payment process. While its premise already delivers something unique to the industry, ManyBuild’s most unique feature is the translation feature, allowing users to translate English to Spanish and vice versa depending on their language preference.
Alejandro has shared his company’s goal is to share and spread opportunities to construction and real estate professionals. Since setting up ManyBuild, professionals have been spending more time building and completing projects without wasting money. Initially, the first customers to endorse ManyBuild came from the Latino community within the Denver area. ManyBuild could steer its software development and hiring decisions by consistently prioritizing the community and listening to their concerns.
Since its inception, ManyBuild has progressed to become one of the most reliable companies in the industry. Alejandro and his team hire community champions looking to cultivate their practice, and their passion for their members has been instrumental in aligning with the expertise of the community members. “ManyBuild believes that what sustains a platform is promoting the dignity of every individual,” he shared. “Choosing to specialize in a field means that you are completely devoted to it; that you will protect it as if it were your own. That is the energy that sets ManyBuild apart.”
The passion for helping others can be traced to Alejandro Lovera’s background. Originally from the island of Aruba, he grew up watching his family flourish in the local construction scene. His mother’s work, paired with his father’s hotel remodels and custom homes, allowed the young Alejandro to soak in his surroundings whenever he visited construction job sites. The upbringing inspired him to develop a knack for building, and when he left the island for Denver, Alejandro gained valuable experience.
His first venture was with his brother and cousin, with whom he established Asterion Construction. From there, he learned to identify, underwrite, acquire and remodel residential and commercial properties. The experience led him to gain the confidence to work on ManyBuild Inc eventually.
Alejandro hopes to see his simple idea pave the way for more economic opportunities and make work more accessible to more subcontractors and general contractor users.
