The inspiration for Therapist To Coach Solutions came from a personal place. My wife, a licensed therapist, was interested in expanding into coaching but felt overwhelmed by the technical and business aspects of making that transition. I realized she wasn’t alone. Many therapists have the skills to help people on a deep level, but often struggle with the complexities of running a coaching business. That could be anything from building a website, learning and managing the different systems, or figuring out how to create, market, and sell a coaching product. My 25+ years in the tech industry gave me the knowledge and experience to create a complete system that allows therapists to launch their coaching business without all the hassle or guesswork. That way, they can focus on what they do best—helping people—while we handle the rest. Once I knew I could solve those problems, Therapist To Coach Solutions was born.

We narrowed down her niche and developed her coaching offer, completed her website, built her customized CRM system, designed an entire pipeline for lead generation, and worked through sales and closing training. Within a few weeks, she was fully set up and ready to take on clients, which allowed her to focus entirely on coaching instead of dealing with the logistics. This gave her peace of mind and freed up her time to focus on what really mattered: making a positive impact with her clients.

By giving therapists a straightforward path to transition into or add coaching, we’re opening new opportunities for them to expand their skill sets and have a broader impact. On the coaching industry side, I hope we elevate the level of professionalism and structure, helping coaching businesses run more efficiently so clients get a more streamlined, high-quality experience. Ultimately, I want to see both industries working together more harmoniously.
In light of the growing demand for mental health services, how important is it for therapists to expand into coaching?
The demand for mental health services will always be there, but there’s only so much you can do as a therapist, especially when you’re bound by geographic or licensing limitations. Coaching offers therapists an opportunity to scale their impact beyond these boundaries, allowing them to work with clients on a level that wasn’t possible before. With the skills they already possess, therapists are in a prime position to add coaching to their repertoire, giving them more freedom and a diversified income stream. It also allows them to offer solutions that go beyond traditional therapy and focus on broader personal and professional development.
Finally, what future developments can we expect from Therapist To Coach Solutions?
We have some exciting plans on the horizon! We’re continuously working to improve our platform by integrating more tools and processes and expanding our offerings. Another exciting development is our new custom built AI-driven niching assistant, “Ana,” which helps therapists define their coaching niche in under 30 minutes. Niching is another point I’ve seen therapists get stuck when thinking of starting a coaching business, and Ana helps them get past this hurdle. Ultimately, we want to make it as easy as possible for therapists to transition into or add coaching, so we’re always refining and expanding our services based on client feedback.
