Social media is a bit of a double-edged sword, wouldn’t you agree? It’s a marvel in many ways, but it also has its fair share of drawbacks. Look around, and you’ll see how it’s woven into the fabric of our daily lives, sometimes for better but often for worse.

Despite its widespread use, social media’s potential to address serious social issues remains largely untapped. From resolving homelessness to political unrest, these digital platforms could be powerful tools for change. Instead, they often get bogged down with targeted ads, conflict-stirring posts, and a lack of meaningful conversations.

While we’re more connected than ever, there’s also a surge in online hate and toxicity. This isn’t exactly a positive sign for humanity’s progress. Many people are deeply concerned about where this is leading us.

One of these concerned individuals is Sammie Jabado. But unlike many, Sammie isn’t just worried—he’s actively working on solutions.

So, who is Sammie Jabado?

Sammie is a modern global business leader with a vision to uplift humanity. His career, a blend of client-facing roles, technical expertise, and international collaboration, reflects the skill set required to thrive in the digital age.

With experience in diverse fields—software, financial services, travel, music, art, activism, and community organizing—Sammie believes he’s uniquely equipped to tackle complex global challenges.

His career includes key roles like Director of Business Development at American Express, Global Sales Manager at Expedia Group, and managing portfolios at VWR. These roles have given Sammie a deep understanding of finance, travel, sales, and relationship-building.

This varied background has shaped him into a catalyst for change. He uses his skills to advocate for social and political activism and empower communities worldwide.

Sammie’s academic credentials further enrich his perspective. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and business from Florida State University, specializing in global marketing. Coupled with his background at the Florida State School of Music, Sammie’s dedication to lifelong learning is evident. This diverse education gives him a well-rounded view of the world, informing his strategic approach to societal improvement.

Now, how does Sammie plan to address the social media conundrum? His answer is his latest venture: Go Go Go.

The idea for Go Go Go came from Sammie’s frustration with the harmful state of current social media platforms. He saw how divisive content and unrealistic beauty standards were damaging society.

Social media started out okay, but now it is tearing apart our society,” Sammie says. “It’s poisoning our kids’ minds.”

These platforms are designed to keep us hooked,” Sammie explains. “They prioritize engagement metrics over user well-being.” This problem extends beyond social media to many companies failing to uphold ethical standards and address issues like online harassment and misinformation.

Sammie stresses the importance of corporate accountability and transparency in the tech industry. “We need to hold companies to a higher standard,” he insists.

Seeing the urgent need for change, Sammie created Go Go Go, a platform prioritizing positivity and authenticity. He’s not just talking about the problems—he’s actively building a solution to create a digital space that fosters genuine connections and societal growth.

Go Go Go isn’t just a social media platform; it also offers a political discourse platform, a digital marketplace, a travel booking service, and a free video content platform.

Sammie’s goal is to revamp the digital landscape completely, for the good of humankind. For instance, commissions from travel bookings will support efforts to combat homelessness, a problem Sammie believes is more severe than many realize. Similarly, social media and political discourse platforms aim to spread awareness and promote healthy discussions instead of merely harvesting user data for ad campaigns.

Sammie’s vision for Go-Go-Go offers a glimpse into a future where technology serves humanity. By keeping accountability, transparency, and ethical standards at the forefront, Sammie isn’t just addressing the issues but paving the way for a more inclusive and supportive digital world.

His approach highlights that while social media is crucial for expression, it can have both negative and positive impacts that tech corporations must account for. As Sammie Jabado aptly puts it, “Unless we are driven to make a positive change, our innovations will keep adding conflict to an already chaotic world.”
