Select Generation was founded by Sam Henneberg and Victor Cascon—two former soccer teammates who turned their passion for the game into a mission to help others succeed. What started as a hobby to assist young players has evolved into a thriving agency with a reputation for integrity and results. Over the past two years, Sam and Victor have guided countless players to secure collegiate and international opportunities, always staying true to their ethos: “Upholding merit as the only metric.”

This commitment has led to the expansion of Select Generation beyond North America and into Europe. In August 2024, they launched Select Generation Academy in Salamanca, Spain—a program designed to provide North American players with elite-level coaching and exposure while immersing themselves in the competitive European soccer environment.

The agency works with North American players aged 16 to 20 who are looking for the next challenge in their soccer journey. Recently, their social media team announced the latest player commitment. Sam Henneberg congratulated Logan Grasso on his USC Upstate Men’s Soccer placement. He shared: ‘Logan has been very consistent with his process and we are extremely proud of his effort to get a division 1 scholarship. This commitment was not easy for him to make happen and he deserves it! I’m excited to see how he does in the fall, he has all the great attributes of a physical defender combined with technical ability which he was able to develop in Spain with us this summer.
