NFT Projects have had huge success relying on people’s soft spots and tapping into what they are strongly interested in. Collections have been released covering themes like art, films, sports, amongst others, and investors have bought these collections because these themes have sentimental value to them. In the NFT world, a new project is coming to life called Meta Knights, and it taps into the video games ecosystem with medieval fantasy storylines.
Meta Knights NFT collection aims to awaken the nostalgic sensibilities in people bringing back the memories of old video games. The project is a collection of 9,999-pixel art knights existing in the fantasy Meta Knights Kingdom that the creators have put together. “Our project is focused on handmade pixel art knights that make you feel like you’re diving into a retro metaverse. It’s an 8-bit Game of Thrones with six different factions all fighting for dominance in the Meta Kingdom we’ve made,” the creators said.
The project aims to attract NFT enthusiasts who wish to buy into the latest trends in the market while owning a collection that sports the gaming aesthetic they love. The creators had fantasy fans in mind during the creative process as they have revealed that most of the project was inspired by Medieval Fantasy and DnD.
The Meta Kingdom is an exciting game where the hero has to protect their realm from Overlords trying to take over. Six major factions fight for control of this kingdom, but it doesn’t end there. Every member in each faction is also battling other groups that want nothing more than dominating them all. Thus, owners who buy into the ecosystem early enough are considered lucky and a part of history because they will be contributing to the ecosystem’s defense. The discord server will announce some giveaways after the launch date.
Meta Knights NFT is the first 8-bit Knight NFT aiming to bring back the events from Medieval times. The project, which started with just knights, has now evolved to integrate a utility token for the Meta Kingdom ecosystem, a subset of virtual property NFTS called Meta Manors. The creators also plan to collaborate with other pixel art projects and become a core part of the NFT community.
The project’s extensive roadmap is underway to verify the NFTs on OpenSea and get the collection listed on RarityTools. There will also be a 5 ETH charity donation challenge where the community will select a worthy charity organization to receive 5 ETH as a donation. On the mint day, which is yet to be announced, only 500 members who bought into the presale will have access to the NFT collection.
