Nestled in the center of Downtown Los Angeles’s Arts District, Kodō Hotel is a sanctuary for spiritual and sensory renewal. The space was designed by architect Matthew Royce, who reveals it as a haven where design, nature, and hospitality converge to create a peaceful escape from the urban hustle and bustle.

With nine room options to choose from, each room at Kodō Hotel features a minimalist design and tranquil living in their repurposed 100-year-old firehouse. The rooms come with high wood-beamed ceilings and open-concept showers that can provide breathable and tranquil spaces.

momiji/maple

This room combines the tranquility of nature with the energy of the city, where the view of the bustling streets below can be enjoyed from the room. The serene presence of the Japanese maple tree frames the view of the vibrant LA art district. Perfect for those who want to get a feel of Japanese aesthetics, momiji (maple) room is a place to experience the allure of peaceful Japanese nature.
