Johnny Depp took the time to thank his fans for their unwavering support during the recently filed defamation lawsuits between him and his ex-wife Amber Heard. He expressed his gratefulness to his ‘loyal and unwavering fans’ on TikTok.

In his newly created TikTok account, the Hollywood star told his supporters that he would “move forward” with his personal and professional life now that the trial had come to a close.

“To all of my most treasured, loyal and unwavering supporters. We’ve been everywhere together, we have seen everything together. We have walked the same road together. We did the right thing together, all because you cared,” Depp said to his followers.

“And now, we will all move forward together. You are, as always, my employers and once again I am whittled down to no way to say thank you, other than just by saying thank you. So, thank you. My love & respect, JD,” he added.

Johnny Depp’s career was on the line even when he was not named in Heard’s op-ed, leading him to lose roles in several films he already was cast into. The strife caused a back-and-forth lawsuit thrown at each other, eventually leading up to the current hearings.

The jury found both Depp and Heard guilty of defamation, but they granted a higher settlement to Johnny Depp, who will be receiving $10 million in compensation plus $350,000 for punitive damages. Amber Heard, on the other hand, will only receive compensatory damages at $2 million.

Depp’s loyal following was overflowing with support during the trial – they expressed their love for him on TikTok and waited outside of court to see how Depp would be doing.

The spokesman for Heard said that she might file an appeal after the jury ruled in favor of Depp, crying foul over the decision saying the jury was influenced by Depp’s fans and the actor’s fame, power, and influence.

The lawyer who successfully represented Johnny Depp in his court case has been promoted to partner at Brown Rudnick. Camille Vasquez’s efforts to defend the actor paid off, and now, she’s an instant sensation among her peers.

“Camille’s performance during the Johnny Depp trial proved to the world that she was ready to take this next step now. We are incredibly proud of her and look forward to what she will accomplish as our newest partner,” said the law firm

Meanwhile, Heard’s spokesperson released a statement after the decision, “As Johnny Depp says he’s ‘moving forward,’ women’s rights are moving backward. The verdict’s message to victims of domestic violence is…be afraid to stand up and speak out.”
