The world of Horror Pop Culture is filled with iconic characters that span across multiple long-standing film franchises that continue to stand the test of time. The recent NFT boom is taking a shot at bringing these iconic characters to the metaverse through a token called the Horror Fellas NFT.
Investors and horror fans will be pleased to know that the Horror Fellas NFT is introducing the first-ever augmented reality community in the Solana blockchain. Part of the community’s roadmap is the creation of a platform where social media users can take a photo or video with their NFT in augmented reality.
This innovative facet of the Horror Fellas NFT will be made available to all future holders in Phase 4 of the community-building stage of the project, as evidenced by the project roadmap. There will be 10,000 tokens available for minting during the upcoming launch date of the project.
Horror Fellas pays homage to iconic horror films and horror characters such as Candyman from the 1992 horror movie of the same name, Freddy Krueger from “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” Jack Torrance from the “Shining”, Sadako Yamamura from “The Ring,” Pennywise from “It,” Chuck from “Child’s Play,” and many more.
The unique collection has drawn the attention of several people online, including Arman Izadi. Izadi is a renowned businessman and entrepreneur who has expressed his love for art and NFTs through Instagram. Izadi tweeted about the collection, admiring how “fckin scary” it is. Like for Christmas.
Once the project launches, various communities will be created across multiple social media platforms. The community founders will then begin accepting participants to the whitelist. The most active members will get to mint a limited number of NFTs at a lower price point and will also receive a percentage of the royalties. The minting will also take place during this phase and the distribution of profit from royalties for the first month of trading at the same time. 30% will be dedicated to marketing and the development of Phases 2 and 3. 50% of it will be given to active members of the whitelist, while the remaining 20% will be donated to charity.
Phase 2 of the project will mark the introduction of more iconic horror movie characters to the community. During Phase 3, the team behind the Horror Fellas project will also work on a system to fuse two different NFTs to get a new token with a higher rarity. The team will also actively pursue new projects and collaborations within Solana.
The final phase of the project, dubbed Phase 4, will focus on the development of Augmented Reality (AR) technology that will feature all the NFT fellas. Holders will be able to download an app on their phones and snap photos with their avatars. This phase will also see the development of the community’s own Solana-based ecosystem for bloggers and active internet users.
The Horror Fellas NFT will be priced at 1.2 SOL, which is $265. The team behind Horror Fellas highly recommends using the Phantom wallet. Others may opt to use the wallet sollet.io as well. Overall, the project hopes to bring the joy of horror pop culture to a community of like-minded individuals. More information will be released as the project winds down to a full launch. Staunch investors should stay tuned for the latest updates on this horrifically exciting project.
