Eric Friedlander, a professional soccer player and high-performance coach, recently launched his new technical training app, The RicFit Academy.

This app will revolutionize player development in the beautiful game.

After three years of intense work, Friedlander launched the app on January 30, 2023.

Since their inception, Friedlander and his company, RicFit LLC, have been making waves in the football industry.

Friedlander’s notable career highlights include signing his first professional soccer contract at 22 and creating the RicFit Academy App.

In addition, he has coached numerous pro footballers, including 40 top professionals from the Colombian 1st League, Swedish Allsvenskan, Peruvian First League, La Liga, the English Championship, Cyprian First League, and other leagues worldwide.

Eric aims to make it as easy as possible for his one on one online clientele to get results.

Eric tells them, I don’t want you to do any thinking. “As long as you execute the blueprint I’ve laid out for you and you smash your sessions consistently, I can guarantee you excellent results!” He believes in his coaching so much that he even offers a money-back guarantee if the client doesn’t get results after six months of training.

You might ask yourself, “Why does Friedlander train clients online?” We wondered the same thing.

He started training people for free in his local area and when he was in college because he exhibited a true passion for changing people’s lives through the proper application of holistic lifestyle measures. He moved overseas at 20 years old and continued to train people for free in person for two years while in Germany.

When he moved to Sweden at 22 years old, he saw a hole in the market. “I saw all these online fitness coaches on social media promoting pills, body wraps, and all these ‘hacks.’ It was a joke because these hacks are just marketing scams. I wanted to get on social media and tell people the actual truth. The truth may hurt, but it’s what gets real results. Lying to people and telling them to use a waist trimmer does nothing for them except waste their money. The only way to lose weight is through a caloric deficit, not some pill or sauna suit.” That’s when he started posting free content across all platforms on social media.

He now spans a social media audience of about 500,000 people across all platforms.

People seem attracted to Eric because he is authentic, always tells the truth, and doesn’t beat around the bush. He gives real practical tips that can be applied immediately to someone’s life to improve their mental & physical health and ability on the field (of course, if they’re a soccer player).

The RicFit journey started when Friedlander was 15 years old. When in middle school, Eric was going down the wrong path. He has always enjoyed having fun and making people laugh. He was known as the “class clown.”

His parents noticed he was hanging out with the wrong crowd and constantly getting in trouble. One of his classics was selling late passes at high school (I guess that entrepreneurial blood is deep down).

When he was 15 years old, his parents introduced him to the gym, and that small glimpse into the fitness world forever changed his life. It put him on the path of personal development and education, which has led him to his current position, where he can pursue his dreams and help others follow theirs.

Eric Friedlander has played soccer since he was four and has always dreamed of playing professionally in Europe or the United States. He knew he had to work on his game physically, technically, and tactically to reach his potential. However, Friedlander doesn’t believe in natural-born talent. Therefore, he knew he needed to be disciplined and train more than others to achieve his professional and genetic potential.

He has never been a fan of relying on others. Therefore, RicFit took his development into his own hands. He began a journey of obsessively studying how the body works, nutrition, and how to better himself at the beautiful game. He had many great mentors along the way, but ultimately, he wanted to learn how to do it himself.

So he started researching, building his network and connections, and contacting and talking to everyone at the level he wanted to be in the soccer industry.

With a rich experience in soccer and playing the beautiful game overseas for eight years (spanning six countries), Friedlander was inspired to launch the RicFit app.

The app is designed to help players of all levels and abilities improve their game through mastering the ball, nutrition, lifestyle & mindset tips, and pro tips.
“Between 14 and 17, I stopped playing soccer competitively due to “bad influences” in my community. I used to be one of the best players in Long Island at the time, but I hung around the wrong crowds and thought I was too cool to play.”

Friedlander stopped playing the game due to bad influences and people calling him a “foot fairy” and saying soccer was a girls’ sport.

Friedlander wanted to include a community feature within the RicFit app. This allows players to connect with other like-minded, ambitious players, helps them stay on track with their goals and keeps them motivated and disciplined to continue smashing their goals. Throughout seven years of his social presence online, Friedlander sees that the “mental support” part is missing from the soccer industry.

Within this discord group, players can share their ups and downs and the ability to help each other through their highs and lows. “This game is an emotional roller coaster of positives and negatives, so I wanted to create this group as that support system. The most important part of the game (and even life) is persistence and consistency. If players can push themselves a little more and continue executing the right habits and routines, they can and will hit their ultimate goal. The problem I noticed is that people give up too soon, and if they pushed just a little bit more, they might have achieved that massive milestone they were after,”  Friedlander said.

Furthermore, players can ask questions, share tips and advice, and get feedback from other app users on their training and progress. There is also a unique accountability feature where players can hold each other accountable for doing their training each day. Friedlander asks players to send pictures of their training, what they’re training, and where they’re teaching. He also encourages players to send photos of their nutrition and meals to keep them accountable for a good diet.

“One of the most important parts of improving is being consistent. You will inevitably improve when you consistently execute the right training. I learned through coaching hundreds of people online that they improve when I consistently check in with them and make sure they’re executing what I’ve laid out for them. It doesn’t matter what you do. Accountability is crucial for improvement in any area of life.” Friedlander concluded.

In addition, the app is user-friendly and can be accessed on any device, making it easy for players to stay on track with their training and nutrition, no matter where they are.

Friedlander’s passion for soccer and dedication to helping players reach their genetic potential makes him stand out. He has lived and breathed the sport for most of his life and understands players’ unique challenges when developing their skills and achieving their goals.

The RicFit app is the culmination of his 24 years of playing and 13 years of experience and research, and it has the potential to transform player development in the sport.

In the next few years, Friedlander sees RicFit as one of the biggest brands in the football industry, helping players worldwide to develop and compete at the highest level.

He plans to build the most prominent academy in Eastern Europe, bringing American players overseas at much earlier ages, allowing them to play at higher levels than in the United States.

With his obsessive work ethic, global network, and the right people, Eric is determined to make his dreams a reality.

If you still haven’t, you need to try the RicFit app to get an actual demonstration of how genius the whole idea was. He offers a 7-day free trial, so you don’t have to pay any money upfront to try out the app.

When it comes to health and wellness, RicFit is a must-follow on social media. He is popularly known for the videos that he posts on TikTok and YouTube. He produces new content daily that brings value to his followers. To get more information on his services, you follow Eric Friedlander.
