DeliverFund.org fights the good fight, #Holidaygiving drive to combat human trafficking

Human trafficking has perpetuated itself and taken different forms ever since it began with the African Slave trade in the 16th century. According to the Walk Free Foundation, International Labour Organization, and the International Organization for Migration, it is estimated that there are 50 million trafficking victims worldwide. In the United States, approximately 15,000-50,000 women and children are forced into sexual slavery every year. The Department of Health and Human Services estimates that there have been 240,000-325,000 human trafficking victims in the United States in 2021 alone.

With these alarming statistics and the ease of trafficking portending by the advent of technology and the internet, DeliverFund.org was established.

‘Criminals can order an underaged girl to their house as easily as they can order a pizza—by mobile phone.’

DeliverFund is a non-profit organization established to combat human trafficking by providing proprietary technology to help law enforcement take down the traffickers themselves.

At the helm of affairs is an experienced team headed by founder and Executive Director, Nic McKinley. McKinley served as a Country Chief for a Special Unit within the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). He witnessed not only the epidemic of child trafficking within illicit markets but also the unrealized opportunity to apply his understanding and training to influence this global crisis. McKinley spent eleven years in US Special Operations as an Air Force Pararescueman before being recruited to the Central Intelligence Agency. Due to his highly specialized training and experience in both special and intelligence operations, McKinley has a firm understanding of these illicit markets and has the highest levels of training to combat them effectively.

As a non-profit organization, DeliverFund relies on the donations of the public and well-meaning individuals. The organization strongly believes that the work of combating human trafficking needs all hands on deck.

From Nic McKinley: “This holiday season is a time to ask ourselves, “How am I making a difference?” When you donate to DeliverFund, you are supporting the innovation required to combat human trafficking and make sure that traffickers end up behind bars, where they belong. You can change how the world defeats these predators. You can be the one to equip law enforcement with training and tech that works in the real world. Join the fight with us today!”

Your donations to DeliverFund can immediately be applied to the fight against human trafficking:

$15 will identify one fake account

$50 will help find the physical location of a trafficking victim

$100 will help find one trafficker’s online footprints

While Giving Tuesday may be over, the fight against trafficking never rests. Donate to the cause today! Visit their website www.deliverfund.org

In addition, DeliverFund has launched Thrivers Coffee, a community and coffee-focused brand whose proceeds are channeled to helping human trafficking survivors thrive by giving them a new beginning. You can find out more about Thrivers coffee here.
