Non-fungible tokens have taken different forms and concepts since their astronomical growth on the blockchain over the past year. While many have derived their value intrinsically, some have based their value on real-life utilities and relatability. The Snake Mob NFT is a new project making it to the fore with its Snake Mobster characters bearing traits reflecting relevant brands and useful characteristics.
The Snake Mob NFT is a growing community of mobsters focused on growing in the NFT world and delivering real value to members of the community and the real world. It was founded by two 21-year-old artists passionate about emancipation and addressing racial disparities in the judicial system. One of the future goals of the founders of The Snake Mob NFT is to award each Mobster’s wallet with five to twenty Ethereum by the end of 2023. Once the project launches, The Mob will be hosting parties in New York City, and each NFT holder will gain free access and admission into these parties. The project is also committed to some charity projects with its promise to donate a portion of its proceeds to The Sentencing Project, an advocacy center working for decarceration.
Typical of NFT projects, The Snake Mob NFT also has an art character sporting different traits reflecting many relevant brands. Most of the clothing traits of each Snake Mobster NFT feature brands like Rick Owens, Cartier, Moncler, Acne Studios, and YZY. Each Snake Mobster NFT also holds miscellaneous objects such as signs, video game controllers, mobster guns, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, joints, and backwoods and bankrolls. Some other Snake Mobsters have Covid masks, diamond, gold, and silver grills on them.
The Snake Mob NFT targets audiences between 18 and 35, focusing on artists, gamers, and people in the fashion world. “Most of our traits appeal to musical artists and people in the fashion world because of our high fashion clothing traits, and our miscellaneous traits. We also appeal to the gaming community because most of our Snake Mobster NFTs are holding guns that you can use when playing games like Fortnite or Call of Duty,” one of the co-creators shared.
The collection thrives on its affiliation with real high fashion brands and how the main Snake character holds different objects that people are likely to wish to own in their personal collection. The project’s whitelist went live on January 5th, and the presale will kick off on February 12th with 1,555 tokens on sale at 0.03 ETH. The public sale of 4,000 tokens will start on February 13th at 0.07 ETH per token.
