Every entrepreneur needs a mentor, just as all businesses have people behind it who have achieved notable success running them. For Thomas Berkley, the founder of the ATM Freedom University, his journey into business began with him following in the footsteps of his mentor, who taught him how to build an ATM business from scratch. Now, having gained strong footing as an entrepreneur, Thomas Berkley is putting people through the atm business world by teaching them how to launch their own ATM businesses.
The ATM Freedom University started as an educational platform on YouTube, which shared videos teaching aspiring entrepreneurs about the ATM business. Thomas took the initiative to make the platform into a company when people began inquiring about him building the entire business for them for a fee. This gave birth to ATM Freedom University, and within four years, over 600 students have built their own successful ATM enterprises.
Explaining how the journey began, Thomas said, “I met my first mentor when I was in the Air Force, and he took the time to share some of his business knowledge with me. He informed me that an individual could own the same type of ATMs that banks did, and took me under his wing to teach me all that I needed to know. While still in the military, I launched my own ATM business, and everything took off from there. Things started getting bigger after I posted my first video on YouTube, and my audience demanded that I build the business for them as a done-for-you service due to the complexity of the business.”
ATM Freedom University‘s operations entail a few simple steps: signing up a new client, onboarding them, securing a high-traffic location close to the client’s home, negotiating with the owner of the spot, shipping the ATM to the location and completing the installation process. It is an entirely hands-off process that hands over the finished product to the client so they can earn legitimate passive income from it. “We’re the only company that negotiates contracts for our students, and we’re the only ones who have techs all over the US that will install, program, and service client’s machines for them,” Thomas said.
The concept of ATM Freedom University is not very common, and the company has thrived under the leadership of its founder. With a personal portfolio of over 50 ATMs all over Ohio and being recognized as a click-funnels two-comma club award winner, Thomas Berkley’s name in the business world commands respect.
The love he has developed for teaching and leading others has made him create hundreds of thriving business owners, and he hopes to continue doing that in the next few years. “During my time in the military, I gained a love for teaching and leading others. That drive hasn’t gone anywhere, so it just made sense to build a teaching-based company that helps others become leaders of their own companies through my mentorship. It’s amazing to see what this has become,” he said.
He hopes to see more entrepreneurs take up the challenge of launching their own ATM businesses and accept new unconventional methods of making passive income in today’s world.
